Community health support is provided from our Community Learning Disabilities Teams are based in deferent parts of the city working together to make sure that the health needs of people with a learning disability are met. We use a person centred approach and will listen to you and the people who know you best. We’ll then base your care on your health needs.

Medication Code of Practice
In April 2007 a new medication code of practice was introduced for adults with a learning disability or a physical disability. This covers the safe custody and administration of medicines in supported living accommodation, short stay and day services.
