Valuing People Now 2009

On 19 January 2009 the Secretary of State for Health launched Valuing People Now: a new three year strategy for people with learning disabilities. 
 
Valuing People Now has six top priorities
1.   raising public awareness of Valuing People Now
2.   Partnership Boards to be as effective as possible
3.   significant improvements in health care
4.   more housing options
5.   personalisation of services
6.   increasing employment opportunities
