Become a member of Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust

Back to Health introduction page
You could be just the person that Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust is looking for!

Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust needs people to become members.  If you become a member of the Trust you can:
  • meet new people
  • learn more about services that will help you
  • get involved with groups who are trying to improve services and develop new ones
  • vote for people to become Governors

Becoming a member means that you can help to make services better.  You can do this by telling the Trust:
  • what it is like to have a learning disability
  • what services make your life better
  • what we should be doing better

You could even become a Governor.  A Governor does these things:
  • becomes part of a group of people who have regular meetings
  • decides whether this organisation is planning its business properly.

If you become a member, you don't have to do anything.  You can just get information from Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust.  If you want to join in, the Trust will support you to do this.

If you want more information about how to become a member you can phone 0114 226 3904.
