The Sheffield Case Register is a list of people with a learning disability living in Sheffield.
The Case Register collects information about you if you have a learning disability, including
- who you are
- where you live
- what services you use
- any problems you have
This information is used to plan services for the future.
The register can be used to send you details of new services and to ask you and your family what you think of existing services.
Researchers can ask us to help them with their projects but we won’t give out your name and address unless you agree.
The Case Register employs Home Visitors to collect the information we need. Much of that information comes from our questionnaire.
You don’t have to be on the Case Register, you decide if you want to be included.
There are Case Registers in other places too. You can find out about some of them at www.nlddg.ik.com
