Changes to Short Break (respite) services

Changes to the way that the government funds services means that from April 2010 all of the short breaks services will be funded by the local authority (this is known as the transfer of funding responsibility). The exception to this will be Longley Meadows which will continue to be jointly funded by health (the PCT) and the council.

This will mean some changes to short break services.  To find out more about the changes, please download the document at the bottom of the page.
