Respite
The Respite Service has 2 main functions
- to provide carers with the opportunity for a planned break from their caring role and emergency breaks, which meet the family need
- to provide service users with health and socially focused care to meet individual needs
The service is provided across 5 sites and supports approximately 155 service users and their families.
Longley Meadows
9 beds (level access) with 24 hour qualified nurse cover in the grounds of the Northern General Hospital. Provides short breaks for people with profound and complex health needs.

3 bed unit in the north of the city that provides short breaks for people with profound and complex health needs.
275A Rutland Road
5 bed unit in the north of the city that provides short breaks for people with social needs.
136A Warminster Road
3 bed unit in the south of the city that provides short breaks for people with complex health needs.
136D Warminster Road
2 bed unit in the south of the city that provides short breaks for people with social needs.
