If you are not happy with any of our services you can approach any member of staff with your concerns.
If you are not happy with the way your assessment is carried out, or with the decision, you can ask us to look at your situation again. Your social worker, community nurse or care manager will explain how you can do this.

Has anyone made a complaint?
There has been a significant decrease in the number of complaints received about Learning Disabilities services. In 2008/09 we received a total of 13 complaints. This is less than half the number received in 2007/08.

Has anyone complimented or made a suggestion about the Joint Learning Disabilities Service?
We make sure that we record all comments , compliments and complaints we receive. In 2008/09 we recieved 38 compliments about our services. These were about:
- service quality - positive outcomes from support
- staff attitude and behaviour - positive family feedback
- noted high level of care and treatment
We continue to look at how we can support families. Our Social Inclusion Team ask people we support - families, colleagues and other providers. You can see from the results the compliments people made about the team. You can see a copy of this at the bottom of the page.

The Social Inclusion Team has actively sought customer feedback by doing 360 questionnaires to people we support, families, colleagues and other providers. (231 KB)
