Who runs the service

Joint Service
The Joint Learning Disabilities Services has a senior and a wider operational management team responsible for running the service. These officers are the senior management team.

Head of Joint Learning Disabilities Service
I have overall responsibility for the Joint Learning Disabilities Service.  I have managers and teams of staff working across both Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Care Trust

Service Manager / Deputy Head of Services, Provider Services
I am responsible for managing staff who provide support to people using day services, respite services, residential care homes and living in supported living

Service Manager CLDT'S
I am responsible for direct payments, the out of City team and the Older Carers Support Service.  I also manage the budget to purchase support and care for people.

Strategic Commissioning Manager
I am involved in Strategic Commissioning, which is understanding the needs of people with a learning disability and their families, how these needs are changing and how we can meet them.

 
Alison Rudd
PA to Head of the Joint Learning Disabilities Service
As PA I provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Head of the Joint Learning Disabilities Service and the senior management team.

 

John Tomlinson
Service Manager / Assistant Clinical Director
I am responsible for the Assessment and Treatment Unit, the mental health team, the CAIS team, working standards and training and development of staff.

I am responsible for Community teams, including the purchasing budget, social workers and health clinicians.

Business and Communications Manager
I have three areas of responsibility – coordinating communications, performance information and managing a team of business support staff

 
Sarah Adams
Business and Information Officer
I support the service with our business consultation and communication agenda.  This includes supporting the work of the Learning Disabilities Partnership Board and its subgroups.
