Changing Places toilet facilties
Standard disabled toilets do not meet the needs of all people with a disability, or their carers! Changing Places are different to standard disabled toilets. They provide the right equipment, enough space and a clean and safe environement, which enables people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and physical disabilities to go out in the community with their other family members and friends

Sheffield’s also has an Adult Family Placement Service which can provide you with
- somewhere to live
- somewhere to stay for a short break
- somewhere to go for day time support
- befriending and outreach support
In every Adult Placement you are helped and supported by someone who is an approved carer. They will share their home with you and include you as part of their family. For more information go to the ‘Family Placement’ page.
